Travelocity teams with Net travel firm

Travelocity.com struck a partnership with Viator, an online company that produces travel information. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Fort Worth, Texas-based Travelocity will offer visitors information on popular attractions and activities through the deal with Viator, the companies said. San Francisco-based Viator will deliver information to Travelocity customers through their reservation confirmation e-mails. Travelocity, which also took an equity stake in Viator, will soon create a page on its Web site where customers can book reservations for tours or tickets to attractions.
