It takes a lot of planning to blast off into outer space. Other than the considerations about how to get there, there is the question of what to bring along. Naturally, when traveling to space, one must pack light. That means bringing along small items that pack a punch. Or are made of punch. Either way.
The Zoku Space Pop Molds ($16.69) are a set of space-themed freezer pops. Consisting of five different rocket pops and one happy astronaut (with space-walking legs as the handle), the fun set comes with drip guards and a mold base. Fill with juice, punch or yogurt and place the base in the freezer. When the time comes to blast off, just pop them out and enjoy one by one.
For less than 20 bucks, you (well, and the kids too, I suppose) could be traveling among the stars. Measuring 7.7 inches by 5.2 inches by 6.8 inches, the diminutive space base won't take up a lot of room in the freezer (nor in the space suitcase). Deep space is a cold place, so try not to get impatient and stick them out of the porthole -- they only take 6 hours to set up in a regular, earthbound freezer.
