Another Wednesday, another show filled with the weird and delightful side of tech. Today, we're taking a look at a crazy new way to create hydrophobic metal surfaces; you've seen teflon coating on your nonstick cooking pans, but you've never seen nonstick like this. They made it happen with lasers, which makes pretty much any venture way, way cooler, in our opinion.
We're also discussing Oculus and their plans to produce original cinematic content for their VR headset. Would you watch a movie fully immersed in virtual reality? Or would you be content to just sit back at home and pretend you're in a movie theater?
Lastly, we're checking out "Lego X," which allows designers to use Duplo blocks as their own personal digital design studio. That's pretty amazing, and gives us a perfect excuse to buy more Lego sets. And before we forget, stick around after the break for the strangest zombie-killing device we've ever seen.
