This move, announced at Tivoli's Partner Exchange conference in Austin, Texas, continues the company's efforts to integrate the wide array of systems and network management products in IBM's portfolio. IBM purchased Tivoli this past spring for $750 million.
Digital previously had a joint development agreement with IBM for NetView, with Digital taking a lead role. Digital will continue to support its customer base for Polycenter NetView--its own name for the product.
In another interesting development, Tivoli also announced a reseller agreement with enterprise management rival Sun Microsystems. Sun Professional Services consultants will resell TME 10 into sites needing systems integration.
