Though it's been months since it was announced, and it will be months before anything concrete comes of it, TiVo is still talking up its partnership with Comcast.

In an interview TiVo CEO Tom Rodgers gave to Reuters about the company's cable plans, he touted, among several other things, the Comcast deal.

Essentially, the idea is that TiVo will be integrated into Comcast subscribers' DVRs. When it was first announced, the companies said the service would be available mid-to-late 2006.

So it was nice to know that Rodgers still plans on keeping that timing, and that sometimes, business plans stay on track.
