Time Warner is looking for a buyer for its interactive unit, according to a San Jose Mercury News report today.

The Mercury reports that Time Warner has hired Wasserstein Perella Securities to find a buyer for the unit, which makes CD-ROM and arcade games.

Time Warner is selling the unit because it plans to make CD-ROM operations a part of its other divisions, including Warner Music Group and Warner Bros. films.
