Among Thanksgiving day traditions, watching the Macy's New York parade live on TV ranks right up there with eating turkey, arguing with family and falling asleep early after three consecutive football games.
Now, for the first time in the 64 years the parade has been broadcast live, you can watch it without turning on your TV or tuning in to NBC .
From Pikachu to the Pillsbury Doughboy to the Prospect Marching Knights to Pre-K Clowns, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is coming live to YouTube .
Thanksgiving morning, starting at 9 a.m. ET, Verizon's YouTube channel will carry a live stream of the event. It can be watched free on any device with access to YouTube, from phones to tablets computers to smart TVs to media streamers .
According to Variety, Verizon will have five cameras along the route that can provide 360-degree views, and graphics with parade facts will pop up periodically. Marlon Wayans and Olivia Culpo will host the program.
