The technology world was buzzing with news this week. From Google's annual I/O conference to some very tiny robotics, these are the images from the week's tech stories that stood out.

Google CEO Larry Page took the stage at Google I/O this week. He held a Q&A session at the end of the keynote presentation, during which he reinforced the idea of a technology-driven utopia and criticized anything that stood in the way of Google's vision.

Bugs, of the real and robotic kind, also saw a lot of attention. Researchers at Harvard conducted the first controlled flight of "RoboBees," and a team from the University of Manchester and London's Natural History Museum produced 3D cross sections of a butterfly in a chrysalis.

And let's not forget that CNET test-drove the Bugatti Veyron. Costing 1.69 million euros ($2.19 million), the Bugatti is not the cheapest car around, but it can rocket 0-60 mph in just 2.6 seconds. Check it all out in the week in pictures.
