The Razr returns

Kent German Former senior managing editor / features
Kent was a senior managing editor at CNET News. A veteran of CNET since 2003, he reviewed the first iPhone and worked in both the London and San Francisco offices. When not working, he's planning his next vacation, walking his dog or watching planes land at the airport (yes, really).

Call it the cell phone whose popularity just won't die. Ever since its introduction last autumn, the Razr V3 has done wonders for both Motorola and Cingular. And CNET readers have been searching for like mad ever since. Though it's not perfect, the Razr is admittedly very sexy, and Motorola has made it even more so with the introduction of its new Razr V3 in black. For the moment, Cingular has a monopoly on both phones, though speculation is rampant that T-Mobile will get a version this summer. Some reports say it could happen this month, while others say later. Either way, you can be sure Catherine Zeta Jones will be flashing one along with her smile in a future T-Mobile commercial.
