As MP3 players become increasingly commoditized, manufacturers are scrambling to do whatever they can to distinguish themselves from the ever-growing pack. This one is trying to accomplish that on two fronts--in form and target market.

Not only is the "Bratz Yaz MP3 Player" aimed at tweens, according to Chip Chicks, but it's doing so with a uniquely appropriate design: purple lipstick. The player has only 512MB of built-in memory, but given the fleeting popularity of songs (and the attention spans) in this age group, that'll probably be plenty at any given time. Besides, the most important thing is that the accompanying earbuds, belt clip and neck strap come in matching colors.
