With Black Friday just days away, you may be left wondering if any stores are going to be open for Thanksgiving shopping before the Black Friday deals officially drop. Those wanting to shop the various sales in stores will need to be aware of the extended opening hours on Black Friday itself, though in recent years several major retailers have taken to closing up shop on Thanksgiving to give employees a chance to spend time with their loved ones. Many retailers have chosen to remain closed on Thanksgiving in recent years. The holiday shopping season -- particularly Black Friday weekend -- is an incredibly busy time and I'm sure we can all agree that retail staff deserve some time off. The trend of closing up shop on Thanksgiving is continuing in 2022 with almost all of the major retailers declaring that they will indeed be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
