Tesla coil electricity fight

At the Belfast Festival, two performers equipped with special suits and Tesla coils went head-to-head in an epic showdown.

Don't try this one at home. Unless you have a Tesla coil, a crazy suit, a pair of platforms and a partner.

Tesla coil performance art is probably not quite what inventor Nikola Tesla had in mind for the technology, but there is some seriously cool stuff out there. This may not be quite as cool as the Legend of Zelda theme and lightsabers, but, really, we don't know if anything can match that level of cool. It's kind of like saying that something isn't as wet as the ocean.

That said, we think that this is nearly as cool. And we now may or may not be looking into building a Tesla coil of our own. Stay tuned.
