T-Mobile subscribers who own the Google Nexus 5 or 7 could get a dose of Android 4.4.3 KitKat before the day is over.

In two separate and updated support documents, T-Mobile promised the Nexus 5 smartphone and the Nexus 7 tablet would start to receive Android 4.4.3 beginning June 2.

Rumblings about an Android 4.4.3 update popped up at the end of March with the payload expected to deliver an array of bug fixes. In describing the update, T-Mobile specifically refers to security enhancements and various bug fixes. However, reports of the impending KitKat update have surfaced at other times over the past month. So Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 owners may not want to believe it until they actually see it.

CNET contacted T-Mobile and Google for confirmation and comment and will update the story with any further details.
