Batman has his Batsignal, but it seems Superman favours a more modern method of communication.

Cavill's fellow superhero star Scarlett Johansson of the rival Avengers franchise also lends her image to the promotional campaign for the P9, although she wasn't at the launch event. Huawei says the phone is also endorsed by high-end camera brand Leica.

Speaking of A-listers shilling phones, LG this week recruited movie hard man Jason Statham to flog the LG G5.
