Nintendo Australia has announced that it is packing up its games and filling up the bus with petrol, as the countdown to the start of the Nintendo Connection Tour 2010 hit the three-week mark. Starting off on 27 June in Queensland, the tour bus will visit eight shopping centres across Australia (and one in New Zealand) showing off games like Super Mario Galaxy 2, as well as numerous Nintendo DS and Wii titles.

For those with a competitive streak, Nintendo will also be hosting a New Super Mario Bros. Wii Coin Challenge at each location. You can enter the challenge as a team or as an individual to win prizes on the day, with the overall winner from each location being flown to Sydney after the tour to decide the national champion. If you're not so good at the games but fancy yourself to be the unofficial protege to Charles Martinet (the voice of Mario), Nintendo will also be using the events to find the greatest Mario voice impersonator as well.
