Don't even think about flying a drone near Super Bowl 50

Temporary flight restrictions issued by the FAA make flying any model aircraft near Levi's Stadium off limits for the big game.

Just in case you were considering flying your camera-toting quadcopter -- or any other model aircraft -- around Levi's Stadium for Super Bowl 50, don't. Just don't.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a temporary flight restriction (TFR) prohibiting flying of unmanned aerial systems within a 32-nautical-mile radius of the big game on Sunday. The FAA even made the short video above to get its point across. The TFR starts at 2 p.m. PT and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT.

For more specific details on the Super Bowl TFR, you can hit up the FAA's site. But, in case you're curious about TFRs and no-fly zones in general for your area, you can download the FAA's B4UFLY app from Apple's App Store or Google Play.
