Sun files brief in Microsoft suit

CNET News staff
Sun Microsystems filed an 82-page legal brief Friday in its antitrust case against Microsoft. The filing was a response to Judge Frederick J. Motz granted Sun in December that compels Microsoft to ship Java with Windows. The 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals will hear arguments regarding the appeal on April 3. Sun sued Microsoft in March 2002 over the software giant's handling of Sun's Java software.
