Suicide Squad game from Rocksteady confirmed for DC FanDome
The Batman: Arkham Knight developer tweeted a teaser image implying Superman will be in your sights.
Rocksteady revealed a Suicide Squad game teaser poster on Friday.
A Suicide Squad game from Batman: Arkham Knight developer Rocksteady will be revealed during the big DC FanDome happening on Saturday, Aug. 22. After months of rumors, the developer confirmed the game's existence in a tweet Friday.
"Target locked -- #DCFanDome -- August 22. #suicidesquadgame," the company wrote, with an image of a target on Superman's head.

Better get those Kryptonite bullets ready.
It's been five years since Rocksteady, which is owned by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, released Arkham Knight, the final game in a Batman trilogy that included 2009's Arkham Asylum and 2011's Arkham City. It also released spinoff Arkham VR in 2016.
DC FanDome is a free 24-hour virtual convention for fans of the DC superhero comics, movies, games and TV series. It'll host panels and reveal upcoming content, including a first look at James Gunn movie The Suicide Squad -- the sequel to 2016's Suicide Squad -- which he's been teasing on Twitter.
The cast and creators of movies and shows like Wonder Woman 1984, Aquaman, Batwoman, The Batman, Harley Quinn, The Flash, Supergirl and Superman and Lois will also take part. The Snyder Cut, which is coming to HBO Max next year, is getting its own panel.
With the usual fan conventions all canceled or postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, companies are using online events to get people hyped. Last month, San Diego Comic Con had a free digital event, but Variety reported that tweets mentioning it were down 95% from 2019's live convention.
Warner Bros. didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
