Warning: Spoilers for season 1 of "Stranger Things" below. Read at your own risk.

Half the fun of watching the retro-inspired horror Netflix series "Stranger Things" is dissecting all the bizarre moments and compiling your own conspiracy theories about Eleven's psychic powers, the mysterious Hawkins Lab, the spooky Upside Down and the origins of the Demogorgon.

Now that Netflix has officially renewed "Stranger Things," it's the perfect time to speculate about the next season. Leave it to the cast of "Saturday Night Live" to give their own interpretation of what's coming up in season 2.

In this SNL sketch, we finally meet Lucas' parents, played by Leslie Jones and Kenan Thompson. They want to put a stop to Lucas (SNL's Sasheer Zamata) spending so much time with Mike, Dustin and Eleven. The other kids are played by "Hamilton" creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and SNL stars Kyle Mooney and Kate McKinnon.

When Lucas pleads with them that he needs to help find his friend Will, who is trapped in the Upside Down, his parents have a few choice words about how scary real life already is for African Americans living in a small Indiana town.

"People who look like us already live in the Upside Down," Jones said. Added Thompson, "You don't have to go looking for scary stuff. It's gonna find you."

The biggest joke comes when Lucas' parents think the monster is the white police chief. It doesn't help when Chief Hopper (played by Beck Bennett) says the kids are his closest friends while handing a ravenous Eleven frozen Eggo waffles.

Here's hoping "Stranger Things" creators Matt and Ross Duffer tuned in to SNL this weekend to get ideas for season 2.
