Disney XD's hit animated series "Star Wars Rebels" returns for another season starting June 20 at 9 p.m. local time in the US. (Fans in the UK and Australia, check your local Disney XD website for the time and date of the episode.)

Last season ended with Darth Vader -- voiced by none other than James Earl Jones -- showing up as the ultimate adversary.

In the premiere, after an extended absence while fighting with the fledgling rebel fleet, we see the Rebel crew return to Lothal to save a defecting Imperial officer. Later, the rebels return to the fleet but are besieged by the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader.

The main "Rebels" story centers on a ragtag crew made up of cowboy Jedi Kanan (voiced by Freddie Prinze, Jr.), ace pilot Hera (Vanessa Marshall), street-smart teenager Ezra (Taylor Gray), the "muscle" Zeb (Steven Blum), warrior firebrand Sabine (Tiya Sircar) and grumpy old astromech droid Chopper. They embark on "thrilling adventures and become heroes with the power to ignite a rebellion," according to StarWars.com.

Fan favorites Captain Rex (Dee Bradley Baker) and Ahsoka Tano (Ashley Eckstein) also appear in the episode. Check out this exclusive clip of the Rebel crew besieged by none other than Darth Vader himself.
