BB-8 waffles roll up to the breakfast table but don't beep or boop

"The Force Awakens" every morning with a balanced breakfast accompanied by an edible droid or two.

BB-8 is so adorable you could eat him right up. Luckily for everyone's stomach, ThinkGeek has created a force-tastic waffle maker so you can gobble the rolling droid whenever you want.

Whether you prefer waffles for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner or a late-night snack, you could serve these up to Rebels and Imperial troops alike, as long as you take care not to worry BB-8's co-pilot Poe Dameron. Or you could always pull a Jabba the Hutt and eat all the waffles without sharing.

The officially licensed Star Wars BB-8 waffle maker creates waffles that look like a flattened-out version of the lovable droid. Each waffle measures 5 inches (12.7 centimeters) across and 6.75 inches (17.1 centimeters) tall.

Like most waffle makers, the indicators light up when the iron is switched on and when it has cooked your droid to perfection. It uses nonstick cast aluminum cooking plates, which embed the image of BB-8 on each side.

The $39.99 (about £30, AU$52) device starts shipping in October.
