If you look under your seat, you might find a new Oprah Winfrey game designed by star game maker Jane McGonigal's Superbetter Labs.

The new project, called Oprah's Thank You Game, was announced today with the specific -- and ambitious -- goal of "spreading the positive emotion of gratitude to half a billion people worldwide."

"Once someone clicks on the 'I said thank you' button," the game's Web site reads, "they will be taken to the game on Facebook to record their thank you and participate in other exciting game elements -- daily thank you challenges, gratitude secrets, a heat map of thank you's across the world, and fun ways to engage with one another. They will also learn three tricks to give the most powerful thank you and how one thank you can reach 258 people."

The game is the first created by Superbetter Labs for the Facebook platform.

"In this online social game, users are briefed on the emotional value and individual elements of formal gratitude," Superbetter Labs said in a release. "This includes how to find the true benefits in a good deed done; how to properly acknowledge these efforts; and, how to spot strengths in others when expressing thanks and praise. Players can then share their efforts on by clicking the 'Thank You' button and watching how others around the world are participating in expressing gratitude through heat maps."
