SPV E650, E600 and M700: Orange's delicious new kit

These three slick Windows Mobile handsets are the latest tasty offerings from Orange. Pictured left to right, there's the SPV M700, SPV E600 and the SPV E650. All of these handsets are rebranded HTC devices with some minor aesthetic changes.

The Orange SPV M700 (aka the HTC P3600) has a glossy black casing, and as with all of Orange's smart phones, comes with Orange's personal touch, which mainly involves putting its logo everywhere. It packs 3G, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, making it a good choice if you need to email at every possible moment.

Next up is the BlackBerry-esque Orange SPV E600 (HTC S620), which also comes in black but has a rubbery feel to it. As you can see, it comes with a full Qwerty keypad and on the inside you get Wi-Fi connectivity. Our only niggles are there's no 3G connectivity and you can't create documents with it out of the box.

Finally, there's the newest handset of the bunch, the Orange SPV E650 (HTC S710), which is one of the most impressive Windows smart phones we've seen in a while. It looks great and features a dual-standard keypad and slide-out Qwerty keypad, just in case you need to tap out a long email. It also runs on Windows Mobile 6 and features Wi-Fi.

All these smart phones are available on Orange for free on a monthly contract or you can buy the unbranded HTC versions from eXpansys. The HTC P3600 costs about £370, the HTC S620 costs about £230 and the HTC S710 costs about £300. Expect reviewage sharpish. -Andrew Lim
