Sprint is partnering with Bell Canada and Mexican carrier Iusacell to offer international data roaming starting July 1. Although voice roaming is now active, data services have thus far been unavailable north and south of the border. To roam internationally, Sprint customers need a current data plan, but no other services or permission is necessary. Usage will be billed at 0.2 cents per kilobyte, but frequent travelers have the option of buying unlimited North American packages at a pricey $129 per month. Data coverage varies by location, so be sure to check with Sprint for details.
