Sourcefire scoops up $11 million

Sourcefire announced Wednesday it raised an $11 million second round of funding, led by New Enterprise Associates. Previous investors Sierra Ventures, Inflection Point Ventures and Core Capital partners also contributed to the round. The Columbia, Md.-based company has raised a total of nearly $18.6 million.Sourcefire develops network security hardware and software systems.
