Sotheby's: Mao Tse-tung items up for bid
Former Chinese leader Mao Tse-tung has taken center stage at Sothebys.com. The online arm of the Sotheby's auction house is offering 150 pieces of art and memorabilia from the Chinese Cultural Revolution, much of it featuring Mao. The items range from a brass bust of Mao to propaganda posters to pingpong paddles bearing the likenesses of Mao and President Richard Nixon. The auction, which began on Wednesday, runs through April 25.
