Sorcery afoot? Tom Felton assigned to Gryffindor on Pottermore

Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in the "Harry Potter" movies, has been assigned to the Gryffindor house on J.K. Rowling's Pottermore site.

What exactly was behind the eyes of Draco Malfoy?

Tom Felton, the actor who played Draco in the "Harry Potter" movie series, joined J.K. Rowling's Pottermore site on Wednesday. Upon joining, people must answer a series of questions that ultimately determine which house they'll be sorted into, and Felton revealed on Twitter that instead of being sorted into Slytherin like his onscreen counterpart, he was told by Pottermore that Gryffindor would be a better match.

Felton was apparently dismayed to learn of his new assignment, and pledged his allegiance with #slytherinforlife. Always quick to the punch, Rowling herself chimed in, telling Felton that she knew all along he was really a Gryffindor at heart.

Makes you wonder how Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and the rest of the "Harry Potter" actors would be sorted in real-life Hogwarts, or how the entire series would have been different if Draco Malfoy had been sorted into the Gryffindor house in the first place like his real-life counterpart.
