Texas has over its CD root kits. The lawsuit alleges that Sony violated a state law protecting Texas citizens from spyware. Sadly, news reports indicate that consumers don't seem to mind paying for spyware--they're continuing to snap up Sony BMG CDs as normal. Save us from ourselves, Texas!
