Sony releases list of games to get PS4 Pro support at launch

New console will support more than 30 games when it goes on sale next week.

If you have been wondering whether your favorite video games will be optimized for the PlayStation 4 Pro when the new, more powerful console goes on sale next week, Sony has released a list that should answer your questions.

The electronics and entertainment giant said in a company blog post that more than 30 games will be updated to run on the new console when it goes on sale November 10. Billed as the most advanced PlayStation console yet, the PS4 Pro supports 4K resolution and HDR content, allowing for greater dynamic range in lighting for brighter, bolder-looking visuals.

Sony said some games will have updates to add support for Pro consoles, while more recent games, such as Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, will have Pro enhancements built into the base game. The company also said it expects to have more than 45 games optimized for the PS4 Pro by the end of the year.
