It's game over for OnLive cloud gaming

The OnLive streaming service is selling its patents to Sony and shutting down. Meanwhile, Microsoft's Office Lens app launches for Android and iOS and the iPad turns 5.

OnLive, a pioneer in cloud gaming, is no more.

The online streaming game service is shutting it down, and Sony is buying up the patents. If you are a member of OnLive, you won't be able to play some purchased games after April 30. CNET Update looks back on the ambitious service:
