Sony Computer Entertainment America announced it had shipped more than a million copies of it new PlayStation 2 racing game "Gran Turismo 3: A-spec," making it one of the most successful software launches in video game history. The original "Gran Turismo" was one of the top-selling titles for the PlayStation. "Gran Turismo 3," which went on sale last week, has been widely anticipated as a key factor to push adoption of the year-old PlayStation 2 console.
