Those eager to get their paws on the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S can put a date in their diary -- online retailer Clove says the super-charged version of the excellent Xperia Arc will be out on 26 September, and is available to pre-order now, for the sum of £350.

The Xperia Arc S packs a 1.4GHz processor, a step up from the Xperia Arc's 1GHz chip. That should keep your hi-res movies and demanding games running with no stuttering.

We were impressed by the Xperia Arc S when we got our hands on it last week at the IFA tech show in Berlin, though we wonder whether a souped-up processor will be enough to trouble the likes of the imminent iPhone 5.

The Xperia Arc S is available from Clove in two scintillating colours -- 'Pure White' and 'Midnight Blue'. That'll be white and blue, then.

Clove has announced release dates for the BlackBerry Torch 9860 (19 September), BlackBerry Torch 9810 (3 October) and the BlackBerry Curve 9360 (3 October).

The Torch 9860 will set you back about £420, the Torch 9810 about £480, while the smaller, cheaper Curve 9360 is set to cost a slightly more wallet-friendly £300, or thereabouts.

BlackBerry is bombarding us with new mobiles at the moment, but is it enough to tempt you away from the likes of Android and Apple's iPhone? Let us know in the comments, or on our Facebook wall.
