SNL mocks Marvel's ability to make a hit out of anything

"Guardians Of the Galaxy" star Chris Pratt helps "Saturday Night Live" prove that Marvel's next superhero blockbuster could be "Bus People" or "Pam."

Will there come a day when humanity is blockbusted?

Will there finally be a summer when we don't go to watch cartoon heroes brought to life by lifeless actors and special effects?

Who cannot wait for the RomCom summer of 2015?

"Saturday Night Live" doesn't believe things will change. Last night, it offered a trailer for some of the marvelous Marvel fare to come. Adding a tinge of authenticity was "Guardians Of The Galaxy" star Chris Pratt.

You'll be salivating with anticipation at the idea that there will soon be an "Ant Man" movie. Yes, it's about "a guy who talks to ants."

Then there's "Creatures Of the Cosmos," which features a Harlem Globetrotter and a chef. But perhaps the surest of Marvel winners will be "Bus People." This offers four random people from a city bus, turned into superheroes of one sort or another.

Actually, this may not be the surest of hits compared to "Pam." A revolutionary idea, this: take a random woman and turn her into a superhero.

After all, heroism is everywhere to be found. You just have to know where to look. And that is Marvel's true art.
