SmartTrust in pact with 724 Solutions

724 Solutions, which sells software that carriers use to offer text messaging to customers, has signed a deal with Sonera SmartTrust, a division of wireless carrier Sonera. Sonera SmartTrust plans to resell the messaging software to all 65 Sonera-controlled carriers located in North America, Asia and Europe, according to Rick Summer, director of mobile operator solutions at 724 Solutions. Sonera has about 220 million wireless subscribers worldwide.
