You don't need a dish or deep pockets to enjoy the latest blockbuster films or Barclays Premier League action if you're on TalkTalk -- the telly and broadband provider is offering Sky Sports and Sky Movies for £20 a month.

Launched in 2006, TalkTalk is an Internet service provider that also offers television and a landline, a combination known in the industry as "triple-play". 1.1 million UK homes get their TV from TalkTalk, many of whom got a free YouView box with their broadband subscription. Other triple-play providers include BT, Virgin Media and Sky itself.

Sky makes its own TV channels as well as offering a TV service, and sells those channels to other TV providers. That means you don't need a satellite dish on your house and a Sky subscription to still enjoy the sports and new movie releases that deep-pocketed Sky has locked up.

To enjoy Sky goodies, TalkTalk customers need to a buy a Sky Sports Boost and/or Sky Movies Boost package. They previously cost £30 a month for film channels or £15 for sporting action, but the price of both is now slashed to £20. The £20 deal is only for three months and you have to sign up for the full three months, but after that there's no lengthy contract so you can cancel any time you want.

The sporting package includes Sky Sports 1, 2, 3, 4, and F1 along with Sky Sports 5, the home of European football. And there are eleven film channels, including Sky Movies Premiere and Sky Movies Disney.
