The Shrimp Butler Shrimp Butler

I usually only eat shrimp when I'm out. A few of my favorite meals involve shrimp--but I don't want to go through the tough process of peeling, deveining and even butterflying shrimp. I could purchase already peeled shrimp, of course, but that isn't a particularly budget-friendly option. The Shrimp Butler, however, has made it easier for me to prepare shrimp at home. It takes about half the time to work through a pile of shrimp: you simply place raw shrimp into the Shrimp Butler, pull down the handle and remove the butterflied and deveined shrimp. The peeler uses a curved stainless steel blade: the curvature allows you to use the Shrimp Butler with any size of shrimp.

The Shrimp Butler is simple to clean. You can easily disassemble it--even the blade pops out of the plastic holder safely. All of the parts can be placed in the dishwasher. Even better, the peeler allows you to easily collect peelings for disposal, and you will no longer need to spend time on trying to scrub the scent of shrimp off of your hands. You can also purchase replacement blades if you find yours dulling. The Shrimp Butler is $34.95.
