Do you like presents? Of course you do — and a new service lets you send geeky surprise gifts to yourself.

Nerd Block is a subscription-based nerd care package service that, for US$19.99 a month (plus shipping), sends out a monthly package of geeky goodies. Partners so far for the fledgling service include Marvel, Nintendo, DC, Adventure Time, Disney, Doctor Who and Star Wars.

Each package contains a limited-edition T-shirt and a selection of five or six nerd-themed toys (which is pretty great for the price!), sent out around the 15th of every month, shipped all around the world. And, if you sign up and hate the packages, you can cancel at any time. Payment options are Visa, MasterCard and PayPal, and the monthly fee will be direct debited from your account on the monthly date on which you signed up (payday is a wise choice, we feel).

They also get points for including a variety of T-shirt sizes in their options: men, women and kids.

It'd make a great gift for that special geeky someone, too. But you know what Tom and Donna say:
