Short Take: WSJ online reaches 250,000 mark

The Wall Street Journal Interactive Edition now has 250,000 subscribers, publisher Dow Jones & Company said. The announcement comes nearly five months after the company said it had 200,000 subscribers. While the numbers are not huge by Web standards, the Wall Street Journal is one of the few publications to convert a print product into a successful, fee-based subscription Web site.
