Short Take: WirelessKnowledge rolls out first service offering

WirelessKnowledge, the wireless communications joint venture between Microsoft and Qualcomm, announced its first service offering called "Revolv." Revolv allows access to email, Microsoft Exchange based calendars and contact databases, and corporate networks for Windows CE based devices, smart phones and pagers, and other personal digital assistants (PDAs). The new company, which was formed in November, expects wireless service providers to offer the service to end-users in early 1999.
