Short Take: VocalTec rolling out Net telephony products

Israeli telephony software company has begun a rollout of products to bring Internet-based telephone service to corporations and large-scale telephone carrier companies. The VocalTec "Ensemble Architecture" will incorporate client-side software, gateway software, specialized servers, and other components, and will comply with the with the H.323 RAS Version 2 industry standard, according to the company.
