Short Take: VIP Calling, Siemens to deliver Asian phone service

VIP Calling, a wholesale Internet telephony provider, and Siemens Business Services will jointly offer voice-over-IP (VoIP) solutions to telecommunications carriers in the Asia Pacific. VIP Calling is pushing to expand its reach in Asia, especially in Hong Kong, where deregulation begins next year. VIP Calling has signed deals with ICG Netcom and Dacom, a Korean long distance carrier.
