Short Take: Vigor ships Java-to-database tool

Vigor Technology has announced an add-on for Microsoft's Visual J++ development tool that lets developers link Java applications to relational databases. The tool, Mapper J++, allows developers to visually map Java classes, variables, and their relationships to any JDBC/ODBC-compliant database, the company said. The tool, priced from $249, will ship by year's end.
