Certificate authority VeriSign has completed a $254 million secondary stock offering. On January 29, the company sold 3.1 million shares at a price of $80.50 per share. Roughly half of the shares were sold by existing shareholders and some 1.6 million were sold by VeriSign, raising about $128 million before fees.
