Short Take: Verio acquires Internet Access Group

Business Internet service provider has acquired the Internet Access Group, the Midwest's largest independent Internet service provider, for $15.1 million, the company said. The move is aimed at expanding Verio's reach into Ohio, Michigan, and Southern Illinois. Verio said it plans to quickly integrate the more than 5,000-customer service into its operations.
