Veridicom, a Lucent Technologies spin-off that makes electronic identification using fingerprint sensors, announced that it has received additional funding from investment bank Hambrecht and Quist, and from Intel, as part of its second round of funding. The amount was not disclosed. The company had already raised $7 million from Allegro Capital, AT&T Ventures, Lucent Technologies, and U. S. Venture Partners.
