Short Take: US Interactive nabs Compaq exec for board
Internet services firm US Interactive has appointed Compaq Computer's chief information officer Robert Napier to the firm's board of directors. US Interactive said Napier brings to its board more than 25 years of experience as a senior IT executive in several organizations. At Compaq, Napier is responsible for overseeing the computer maker's global management IT operations, said Los Angeles-based US Interactive. Before Compaq, Napier also held CIO positions at Lucent and AT&T.
