Short Take: uBid's nearly free PC offer

Jumping on the "Free PC"

Jumping on the "Free PC" bandwagon, online auctioneer and e-commerce site uBid will offer a $99 computer when customers sign up for MSN Internet access for three years. uBid is teaming up with Total Peripherals to offer a PC with an Intel Celeron 433MHz processor, 32MB of memory, 6.4GB hard disk, and 56K modem, among other features. The $499 PC includes a $400 rebate with a three-year subscription to Microsoft's Internet access service for $21.95 per month.
