Short Take: U.S., Japanese WorldNet customers can roam

AT&T announced that U.S. and Japanese customers who travel from between the two countries can now access WorldNet Internet services using the same log-in procedure and software. The "roaming" feature gives WorldNet users access to newsgroups, search engines, navigational tools, email, and personal Web page publishing. The feature will be free of charge for an initial promotional period through the remainder of 1997, with pricing to be announced after that time.
