Short Take: Truste to open Washington office

Truste, an Internet privacy seal program, will open an office in Washington to increase awareness of privacy issues on the Internet. Former Commerce Department counsel Paula Bruening will begin to work as a liaison with government agencies and lead Truste's consumer complaint and resolution division. Pamela O'Connell, also newly hired, will serve as director of business development and alliances.
