The North American arm of Toshiba has introduced a 3.5-inch-thick, two-processor server, theMagnia 3035R. The machine uses Intel Pentium III chips, error-correcting memory, SCSI hard disks and a port that enables remote management. The server has an entry-level price tag of $4,482 and a cost of about $10,800 for a midrange configuration, Toshiba said.
